As a clinical hypnotherapist, yin yoga therapist, yoga nidra facilitator and crystal sound therapist, I know the amazing mental and physical benefits of therapeutic practices that engage with both the mind and body. 

Hypnotherapy allows us to fundamentally change the way we think, feel and behave.  Yoga helps quieten the mind and build flexibility and strength in the body.  Sound therapy helps release energetic blockages held within our bodies and energy systems.

Unlocking body and mind from negative emotions

Emotions can be stored in the body, as well as the mind, resulting in a physical impact, pain and discomfort.

My 1-2-1 sessions have been designed to help people release the negative emotions they may be carrying with them, including trauma, shame, fear, self criticism or guilt. 

The field of somatics

It’s become something of a buzzword, but somatics is  about engaging with your inner body to enhance wellness: potentially easing pain, anxiety or feelings of imbalance.

Western somatic techniques are in their infancy but exercises such as yoga have helped people struggling to verbalise their feelings find a way to express them. 

Over the years, I have seen how negative emotions can be one of the key reasons why clients can’t or don’t move forward in life, or feel unable to achieve their goals. 

My tailored hypnotherapy and yin yoga therapy sessions will embed positive emotions such as self kindness, confidence, self compassion and self esteem, helping you see yourself and the world in a whole new light. 

Your personalised therapy session for mind and body

It all begins with a free, 30-minute Zoom consultation, during which I will build a bespoke programme based on your specific goals and desired outcomes. 

The 1-2-1 session can combine elements of hypnotherapy, yin yoga and crystal sound bowl therapy. Let’s explore what each of them entails in a little more detail: 


My Solution Focused hypnotherapy blends modern psychotherapy with hypnosis. It focuses on results, rather than problems, to bring about rapid, lasting positive change. 

It has been proven highly effective against a range of conditions, including stress, anxiety, depression and low self-confidence. 

Yin yoga 

Inspired by Chinese Meridian Theory and yoga philosophy, yin yoga balances the chi energy and enhances the flow of chi/prana to your organs and joints, as well as the connective tissue and bone. 

Yin yoga is perfect for balancing your body, mind and emotions, boosting your positivity and overall feeling of wellbeing. 

Crystal sound therapy

My personalised yoga programme can also includes a  ‘savasana’ sound bath, which immerses you in the vibrations of the crystal bowls. 

These frequencies allow your chi/prana to flow, unblocking energy and maximising the benefits of the 1-2-1 session as a whole.

The yurt as a therapeutic space

Whilst there is a relevance (and for some a preference) for having therapy in a clinical setting, I wanted to create the perfect therapeutic space for both the mind and the body.  With my background in architecture, I know how important place and space can be.  The right ambience, lighting, music, temperature and even the presence of a wood fire can work wonders in calming the nervous system.

I am a big fan of props to help release bodily tension and stress.  The yurt has all the equipment you need for a relaxing hypnotherapy and yin yoga experience, including bolsters, bricks, blocks, blankets and sandbags.
